Os dias têm sido preenchidos com o novo trabalho que entretanto irá acabar. O atelier onde estou só precisava de uma colaboração temporária, a qual aceitei. A experiência está a ser muito boa.

One week later I'm back!
The days have been filled with the new job that will end soon. The office just needed a temporary collaboration, which I accepted. The experience is being very good.

Tem nevado ao fim de semana e deixa tudo coberto com um manto branco, que transforma a cidade num cenário admirável.
Tenho de mudar o carro de lugar com regularidade por causa da limpeza da rua. No Domingo passado quando fui buscar o carro tinha esta surpresa que me deixou com um sorriso!
Claro que depois veio a parte menos boa que é limpar a neve do carro, mas isso já não tem graça nenhuma.

It snowed the weekends and leaves everything covered with a white blanket, which transform the city into a wonderful scenery.
I have to move often my car because of the street cleaning. On Sunday when I went to pick and move the car and I had this surprise which gave a smile to my face.
Of course then came the worst part that is clean the snow, but that's no fun.

Este fim-de-semana aproveitei para cozinhar algumas iguarias!
Na foto temos a minha primeira tentativa para fazer chamuças.
Nas férias de passagem de ano estivemos com amigos de Boston no Maine, com grupo de nacionalidades diversas, onde aproveitamos para fazer um dia de cada país. Entre o grupo estava o Mehdi, do Irão, que fez chamuças e eu aproveitar para deitar olho ao processo e aprender como se faz. A única alteração que fiz foi fazê-las no forno em vez de fritar (porque se as fritasse iria ficar com o cheiro em casa para o resto mês!). Como não fritei, usei massa filó.
O resultado: O interior está delicioso, mas mesmo assim sente-se falta do exterior crocante. Para a próxima vou experimentar com outra massa.

This weekend I cooked some treats!
On photo is my first attempt to make samosas.
On holidays of New Year's Eve we went with Boston's friends to Maine.
In a group with diverse nationalities, we had the opportunity to cook a day of each country. Among the group was Mehdi from Iran, which made delicious samosas and I took the chance to learn the process and how to do it. The difference, I did on the oven instead of frying (because if I fry it, the smell would stay all month inside home!) with filo dough.
The result: The inside is delicious, but still missing the crunchy outside. Next time I will try another dough.
