Este fim de semana fui convidada por uns amigos a J&M para um brunch e para conhecer a casa nova.
A J&M conseguiram um apartamento fantástico mesmo em frente as Flatiron. E tenho uma história com este nome...
Sempre li "Fla-ti-ron" como se lê em português, mas em inglês lê-se "flat-iron" que é a forma do edifício, como um ferro de engomar... Nunca tinha percebido isso até que alguém me explicasse (obrigada T). Totó já sei...

Voltando ao tema principal. A J pediu-me que levasse alguma coisa doce à última da hora e eu pensei em fazer um bolo, mas iria demorar a cozer, então decidi cozer na forma dos queques/muffins.
Estavam deliciosos, são queques de morango com pepitas de chocolate e foram servidos com morangos e chantili. Eu fiquei só pelos morangos que não aprecio chantili... Hum... Deliciosos...
Fui uma tarde bem passada.

This weekend I was invited by J&M for a brunch at his new place. J&M got a fantastic apartment just in front of Flatiron. And I have a story with this name...
I always read "Fla-ti-ron" as we read in portuguese, but in english it reads "flat-iron" which is the shape of the building, like an iron... I never realized it until someone explain to me (thanks T).

Returning to the main theme. J asked me to bring something sweet at the last minute and I thought about baking a cake, but it will take time to bake, so I decides to bake it as muffins.
They were delicious. Strawberry and chocolate chips muffins served with strawberries and whipped cream... I don't like whipped cream, only with the strawberries... Hum... Delicious...
It was a great afternoon.
